"Understanding people"

Lifestyle Portraiture, to me, means working with natural light in a natural environment - it's where people generally feel most relaxed and at ease.  No studio lights or forced smiles here!

Before the session;
We'll start with a chat so I can get to know you and what you'd like to achieve from the session.  It could be a chance to photograph the whole family together at a particular moment in time, an engagement, a family reunion or a newborn baby - or for no reason at all!

We'll agree a location that you'll feel comfortable in - maybe starting at your home and in the garden, moving on to the beach or somewhere else special to you.  I can offer advice on what to wear, the best time of day and what else you'll need to bring with you.  If you'd like to have a change of clothes, that's fine and pets are more than welcome.

On the day;
Now comes the fun part - my main aim is to put you all at ease and ensure that you enjoy yourselves.  There are no time constraints or formalities - we go with the flow - it's YOUR day.

A Family Portrait Session starts at £75 - the clock is not ticking - we take as long as we need to, be it half a day or more.
