"About Lou"

I fell in love with photography on safari in Zimbabwe in 1996 when I borrowed a friends camera and took 17 rolls of film in 2 weeks!  I've been taking photographs professionally since 2000 and have developed my own relaxed and natural style of photography, which reflects my informal but creative and professional approach.

I live and work in Hampshire, in the heart of the South Downs, and have a huge passion for the countryside and coastline around me.  Luckily for me it's the perfect backdrop for the photos I'm taking, and often becomes the subject itself.  My camera goes with me everywhere - nowhere is too far away!

My specialism - and what I'm best known for - is my lifestyle portraiture photography.  It's a personal passion of mine, and great fun to do. If you take a look at the Lifestyle Portraiture page on this site, you'll see some of the photos I've taken and read about how a Portraiture session comes to life.

As well as people in a natural environment, I also cover commercial photography and can set up, manage and shoot all your members of staff for your website or promotional purposes.  In fact, it needn't be people - you'll see from these pages that I also do lifestyle product shots and can work both on-site or on location.

They say never work with children and animals - I accept the challenge!  Be it your dog, horse, cat or other pet.
